My name is Lisa Drucker and I am The Special Educator.  I offer the services and experience of a special education consultant, liaison, and team member all rolled into one package.

I have a master’s degree in special education combined with direct special education teaching experience in the Chicago public school system. I have effective techniques and strategies that increase student attention and focus resulting in academic gains and enhanced skills.

As part of my well-rounded experience as The Special Educator, I also have a unique understanding as a special education liaison.  I have worked with families and other IEP team members to facilitate appropriate goals and provide grounded expectations for special education students.  I am able to facilitate the ground work and put together the pieces of a child’s special needs life from meeting and managing their educational goals to successfully bridging the gaps between home, school and private therapy specialists.

I am available to speak with families or professionals at upcoming support or networking group meetings.  It is my hope to make a difference in the lives of the students and families who work so hard.
